Toucan Krafte’s mission statement “To empower women by providing fair wages and creating beautiful, handmade, high quality and unique accessories”. These women are part of a self help group based in New Delhi from low income communities, they are trained by Toucan Krafte and all the raw materials are provided to them to work at home as they care for their kids and family; providing an additional stream of income.
This collection aka "Tribal Council 2018" has been 6 months in the works and it is very close to our 💓 90% of the collection are upcycled ie made by recycled fabrics, wood, metal.
For every piece sold from this collection, TJT will purchase 2X Hindhi children books for the community and will provide monthly updates on this. Join us in our mission in making a difference, one person at a time ❤️
